Okay Renewed....I'll do it too. I really don't want to change my ticker, but like you said, maybe that will just motivate me more. I haven't weighed since a couple of days after Christmas. I had gained about 8 lbs between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I hope I have lost some of that since...we'll see. I will weigh in the morning and adjust my ticker.

I also made a batch with the reduced sugar brownie mix last night and froze all of them. I think I like the brownie mix muffins better, just because I tasted less of the pumpkin in those. I like pumpkin okay, but the yellow cake mix batch tasted like pumpkin more than anything else. They came out pretty dense, but they were very filling, so that's a good thing. Overall, I thought they were a good Protein snack. I really enjoyed them.

Whoooo Hooooo on the 5 miles Renewed!! That's great!! I didn't get in a run today....Sundays are soooo busy for me. I'll be running in the morning though. Thanks for setting up the challenge Renewed! I hope it keeps me motivated. BTW, the team challenge sounds so fun. We should do that next!

Well, I had a booger of a time finding the reduced sugar cake mix, but after going to 3 different stores I finally found one. I have some in the oven now! I did a yellow cake mix, Cookies and cream Protein powder, and pumpkin. It smelled pretty good...I'll let ya'll know how they turn out. Oh, I found a reduced sugar brownie mix that has much less calories than the cake mix and next time I'm gonna try using the brownie mix instead of the cake mix and see what happens.

Okay, are we still starting the challenge tomorrow? I'm new to the nike+ website. How do I go about doing the challenge??? I'm not very good at figuring this kinda stuff out, lol.

Mac...do you have access to a treadmill? It would probably be best to calibrate it on the treadmill, that way you can set a constant pace and know exactly how far you've gone.

LOL Sugar....I hope I build back up fast. Don't be so sure about me not coming in dead last...if ya'll saw how bad I was huffing and puffing today, you'd understand. So, we are starting Monday right?

Sugar...you will eventually build up. It took me a long time, but it finally happened. As long as you are burning calories and keep at it, that's all that matters. Well guys...if I EVER decided to take another 2 month vacation from running, someone please kick my butt!! I feel like I'm starting over. I did a 1.6 mile run/walk today. I went from being able to run for 45 minutes straight, to 4 or 5 minutes....I could just kick myself for taking off for so long. I know I will build back up eventually but I'm just soooo mad at myself! I don't think I'll be much competition for the nike+ challenge, but maybe it will keep me motivated.

I think I went to settings, then sensor, then calibrate. I calibrated a walk and then a run. I selected to calibrate a .25 mile walk and run. After doing that, I did a short run and it was right on the money with the treadmill distance. Do you put the sensor inside your shoe or do you use the shoe pouch? I'm using the shoe pouch until I buy new shoes. It seems to be working okay.

These sound great! Do you use the pumpkin with all the different recipes? I bet sweet potato would be good too. Where can I buy the reduced sugar cake mixes...I don't think I've seen them before??

I get mine from Walmart. I think the brand name is Rosina...I get the homestyle, but they also have italian and sweedish too I think. That sounds really good!! I've got meatballs in the slow cooker now...I wish I had some of the apple jelly. Did you use apple jelly and chili sauce??

Hello guys! I've been MIA for a while...haven't done so well since Thanksgiving, but I'm back! I got my booty up and went to the gym this morning. walk~ 10 minutes run~ 10 minutes zumba~ 45 minutes

WTG Sugar!! Well, I got my booty up and went to the Y this morning! I calibrated my nike+ and did a short run, then I did Zumba. I can surely tell that I haven't exercised in almost 2 months. I feel great though...it's good to be active again!!

Hello to all my C25K buddies! I'm back!!!! I am soooo glad to be home. We had a good time, but I am ready to see my boys. Welcome back Leslie...I've missed you! I'm glad you are posting again. Renewed....I'm going to get my nike+ up and going tonight and figure out how to work it, lol. I'll PM you my email address. Well, I'm gonna go pick up my son in just a few minutes....I'm soooooo ready to see him! I'm going to do something tonight...not sure what yet, but something. I may get the Wii Fit out and do it. I feel like I've gained at least 5 pounds since I've been gone. Gosh, I hope not, lol. Anyway, I'm glad to be home and ready to start running again!

Sugar...I agree with Kathy, try doing one interval and just go until you HAVE to stop. I think Kathy was the one that suggested that to me when I was stuck and it worked wonders. Like she said, just add a minute or two each week until you work up to the 5K. It worked for me. Melody...good for you! You are doing great! Well, I'm leaving in the morning and will be gone until Tuesday. When I get back, I'm gonna set up my nike+ system and get busy! I hope taking a month off hasn't brought me down too far....oh well, if it has, I'll just start over again. I'm so ready to get going again!! Talk to ya'll on Tuesday!!
