I'm not sure how far you are willing to travel, but I was banded in Albany, Ga by Dr. Bagnato at Palmyra Medical Center. I have the AP small band. Dr. Bagnato and the hospital staff were amazing. -
What type of scale do you all recommend?

I got mine from Wal-Mart. It's HealthoMeter. It's digital and you can program your height, age, gender, and weight and each week when you weigh, it tracks your progress. It can also show you your BMI and shows if you are hydrated enough. I think it cost about $40. -

I love that show, I'm definitely addicted. Kae is kicking butt on the scales. She is the only one so far that has withdrew from every food related temptation and that inspires me. I really liked the ex-football player that got sent home. You are all right, Amy deserved to go home. It was like a slap in the face to the red team when she switched to black and then tried to give her shirt back to them. How rude

Getting fills without fluoroscopy...

My experience was completely opposite of yours. My first fill hurt soooo bad. She had to find it and had to stick it several times until she found it. I just got my 2nd fill today and didn't feel a thing. She uses lidocaine as well and gave me a little extra because of how bad it hurt last time. -

I had my 2nd fill today and so far I am feeling some tightness (fingers crossed that it stays that way for a while) Jeannie, tomorrow is the BIG day! Good luck with your surgery. I hope you have a speedy recovery. You are in my prayers. -
I'm just curious, did your doctor tell you that you do not have PCOS anymore? I could be wrong, but I was under the impression, by my doctor, that I would always have PCOS. He said that losing weight would definitely help the symptoms, but not cure it completely.

If I were you, I would find a second opinion if your doctor refuses to check this out for you. They should at least draw your blood and check your hormone levels.

I just started tracking mine on Calorie Counter, Diet Tracking, food Journal, Nutrition Facts at The Daily Plate So far it's been going really good. It keeps me on track.

I'm not really attached yet, but Kae is an inspiration to me. Even though she is the smallest one there, she has really kicked butt on the scales. She is the only one that has withdrew from every food related temptation so far and I think that she is very dedicated. I really liked Phil too and thought he probably could have won. I am glad that Amy went home last night. She was too whiny and complained too much.

I feel the same way. I've had one fill and I still feel like I can eat anything I want. I'm hoping fill #2 does the trick.
