Well good luck in finding the right name. I think it is a great idea to use a creative name that describes your interests.

I have a huge family and I told everyone. Everyone I know, knows that I have struggled to lose weight over and over and over again. For the most part, everyone was very supportive. My MIL and FIL weren't that supportive, but quite honestly, I don't care. I quess it just depends on how comfortable you are discussing this with people. Everyone has their own reasons for telling, or not telling. Good luck to you in making the decision to tell or not.

How about "pale headed white rumped barred breast blockhead" :heh: Seriously, I did a little research. Due the the fact that they are songbirds and they paralyze their prey by severing the spinal cord, I thought of "Paralyzing Songbird".

Hey Amy! It's nice to meet you. Congratulations on your surgery date! I can tell you things will get better. I'm already having regular periods and I'm not wearing my C-pap mask anymore. I'm not snoring anymore and I sleep a lot better. I think my mood swings are even a little bit better. It's amazing what a little weight loss can do for us. Thanks everyone for all the replies. I keep all this in mind as a shop. I will get a good bra fitting because I haven't had one in years. I'll probably check out Lane Bryant and MAYBE I'll try on an underwire bra again. I have an underwire bra that I tried on a few days ago and it did not fit at all........maybe it's the wrong size....I dunno, but we'll see.

I was told not to drink caffeine anymore. For the most part, I've quit. My fill nurse said to stop because of the dehydration risk and because caffeine makes you hungry. I had never this before, so I don't know how true it is. Once I got past the initial shock of no caffeine, I was fine.

I'm really not sure what size bra I wear. I know it's a DD, but I was just guessing that I am a 42 DD. I haven't been shopping for a bra in at least a year. I guess I'll just have to try them on and see.

I am going for an assessment at the Obesity Clinic next Wednesday (the 9th). I was just curious if anyone else would be there that day. My appointment is at 2:15.

That's good. I've had 3 fills and I do have some restriction, not as much as I would like though. I hope you've hit your sweet spot. That's awesome! You're doing great!

I am so addicted to the chai tea. I think the brand I use is Stash. I never thought I would like hot tea but I love it. I have at least one cup a day, sometimes two. I put a little milk and a little splenda in it. When I'm craving something sweet, I usually make a cup and it calms my craving. I think I am going to order the Holiday Spice Comfort and Joy tea. I love anything with apples and cinnamon.

Thanks Snowbird! I checked out the link and it looks like a pretty good bra. Also, it's affordable. I'll still go shopping this weekend for a bra, but if I can't find one, I'll probably order this one.

I posted a thread in the rant and raves a few weeks ago about this very same topic. Apparently they have made it a point to say that they are looking for weight loss stories of people who have lost weight the "old fashioned" way, many times. I want to tell these people to WAKE UP, this is not the 1950's, we have so many medical advancements, why not take advantage of it? This is definitely not the first time that this comment has been made on the Today show.

Unfortunately there are no outlet malls close by. That's one of the disadvantages of living in a small town. There is a shopping mall that is about an hour away. They have a Belks, Sears, JC Penney, Lane Bryant, and Dillards. Hopefully I will be able to find something that will work at one these stores. I haven't been bra shopping in forever, it's too depressing. Right now I'm still wearing the one that I was wearing 50 lbs ago, it's in sad, sad shape. I guess I should be excited but I hate bra shopping.

Thanks Laurend! I love chai tea so I probably would like it. I found some for $7.95 for 50 tea bags Comfort and Joy Tea Holiday Spice Blend, Republic of Tea - 50 Tea Bags Cinnamon and apples are in it and it sounds really good.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I'm on a budget and can't spend a whole lot of money on one.

Way to go girl! I started out exercising really good, but since the holidays I just haven't been motivated. I've got to get back on track. I even got an elliptical after Thanksgiving, I think I've used it about 5 times . Great NSV! Keep up the great work!

Sorry to hear that. Will you have to use the same Protein shakes after surgery too? I used Pro Performance Whey Protein powder (chocolate caramel) and mixed it with skim milk. I found that is wasn't as lumpy and thick as some of the others I tried.
