    Here's my menu and stats for today: B'fast- low carb slim fast Lunch- 1/2 cup ground sausage and cream cheese w/ 1 tbsp. sour cream Snack- low carb slim fast Dinner- 1/2 chicken breast stuffed with spinach and artichoke Calories- 920 Fat- 60g Total carbs- 16g Net carbs- 12g Protein- 76g
  3. That really sucks! I know how you feel, if I'm having a crappy day, I always eat things I shouldn't too. Did it do a lot of damage to your car?

    Mia I think sometimes people don't realize what they say effects other people. I think you're right, just steer clear from there for a while and think positive. This will be over before you know it and you'll be better than new! Keep your head up and let's kick some butt on the scales!

  10. I'm not sure I'm at my sweet spot yet either. When I got my last fill, I thought that would be "the one", but it has relaxed quite a bit. I think I'm very close. I have 6ccs in my band right now.
  11. 1 carb isn't bad, I was expecting it to be a lot more. I may have to give luncheon meats another try!
  12. Renewed I think I was becoming a fill addict. I was trying to find ways to get a fill even though I had lost weight. Other than my recent plateau, I've been pretty consistent at losing. I think I wanted the band to do all the work for me. I guess, for me, I'm just trying to hold off because I've realized I want most of the success to be from me. I love the band and it helps me tremendously, but there could come a time when my band has to be removed. I pray that doesn't happen but I want to be mentally prepared if it does. Maybe I'm not making sense, I dunno. I guess I just don't want to rely solely on my band for the weight loss. I'm going to try to do the very best I can, and when I can't do it on my own anymore, I'll get another fill. If you feel like you need a fill, I think you should get one. Don't let my reasons stop you from doing what you need to do.
  13. I love luncheon meats, but they don't play nice with my band. I've never PB'ed but I have a really hard time eating them. I love ham and cream cheese roll-ups, but I've been too chicken to try it. Pre-band I would buy pineapple cream cheese and make ham roll-ups :rolleyes2:. Okay, I gotta stop!

  16. Renewed, my doctor won't give a fill if I have lost 2lbs a week since my last fill. I know I won't get a fill at my next appt. I've been getting a little hungry at night, but I'm going to try to avoid getting a fill for as long as I can.

Losing- I used to make this awesome breakfast casserole with ground sausage, cream cheese and crescent rolls, so I just decided to mix the sausage and cream cheese together and eat it by itself. It was really good, definitely the best sausage I've ever had. I just scramble a tube of ground sausage, drain it, then mix 1 package of cream cheese until blended well. Last night I used 1/2 package of cream cheese to keep carbs down, but it wasn't as good as using a whole one.
  18. Good for you Renewed! Our Wal-Mart here has a closed frozen section with doors and it has an open frozen section down the middle of the main walkway. I found it in the open freezer section with the chicken strips and the frozen turkeys and hams. This was the first time I had ever seen the stuffed chicken so it may be new.

    !!look At This!!

    That brought back lots of memories!!! They just don't make TV shows like those anymore **tear**. Another one of my favorites, that wasn't on there, was Boy Meets World, I loved that show. I still watch the repeats.

    Hey guys! I got the chicken breasts from Wal-mart, in the frozen section. They are the Sam's Choice brand and they are yummy! I also got some stuffed with mushrooms and swiss cheese- had part of one of these for lunch today and it was soooo goood! I'm not quite able to handle a whole one, I can usually make 2 meals out of one chicken breast. These are very good and very flavorful. 1 chicken breast has 220 cal., 7g of fat, 8 carbs, and 32g of protein.
  25. Jump on in Pharmgirl, glad you decided to join! You're right, the first couple of days really suck! Once you pass the initial shock, things get a lot better!
