  1. I have logged into this website at first on my laptop and just used to connect through fb link. Now when I use my iphone app I cannot get logged in bc I don't have a user name/password. I tried to register using my info but it says that my email is already in use as is my name. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

  9. Did anyone take any vitamins preop? I purchased a bottle of preop vitamins from bariatric advantage and was thinking about taking those 30 days prior to my surgery. Just wondering if there's actually any benefit to doing this.

    Cell phone charges

    So just to clarify. If I keep my phone on airplane mode I will still be able to connect to their wifi and use those functions? Then I will not be charged roaming fees?

  21. I'm in a June 2015 group on fb and we have like 5 girls the 1st wk of June. Not sure where exactly but defiantly quite a few surgeries during the 1st week.

    POST OP HELL-HELP

    Great advice mremilio. I too will piggyback behind him and say during the first few days it's really imperative to focus primarily on your liquids don't push yourself on the protein just yet. Just worry about making sure that you stay hydrated & that you get plenty of rest so you can heal. hopefully in a few days you'll start feeling better and then you can start pushing the protein.

    Using a straw.

    Thanks for the update. I definitely plan on using a straw shortly after my surgery date. I'm estimating anywhere from 1 to 3 months postop to start using a straw again. I couldn't imagine my life never using one.
  24. I'm tired of being sick and tired. I'm tired of my weight holding you back from living my life. I want to be able to do more with my children and not have them be a shamed of me. I just want to live.
  25. Don't force yourself to do anything that you feel you shouldn't or that you feel might be detrimental to yourself. With that being said, you could try to just do five minutes of walking and see how you feel after that. It's not an all or nothing program. Little steps do add up and any movement that you're doing with your body is helpful.
