i was banded on the 25th. i am feeling pretty good but my struggle has been since i went back to work. i have energy in the morning and am getting decent amounts of fluids but am protein starved. i can tell because i am dreaming of fish and cottage cheese. i got so low on energy yesterday that i called the dr and they are letting me start cottage cheese. i think over a period of time i ate almost a cup, but i felt much better. the protein is huge because once you are back to work,depending on your job, you really need your energy to function.
i am still on full liquids but i have yogurt, pudding, and now...cottage cheese. i have a hard time getting in those slimfast high protein shakes. i can get one in over the whole day but that is just not enough protein for me. jamba juice protein drink is working for me as well. i get the small one and have them add an extra protein boost.
anyhow, hang in there. it seems friday and sunday are my tough days of the week.
