Surgery was June 24th, did the liquid diet for week and then I left for long drive from southern Illinois to Chicken, Ak. Found it hard to get soup at cafés and then the pre made shakes are way to sweet. Now on puréed food and I have learned that to spicy foods really give me heart burn. Go in this Friday to see how I've done. No scales in sight. I do know I went to size 20w to 18w. Oh, and yes if u take those extra two bites u think u want. U will find urself puking. Well at least I did.

I had surgery on June 24th and so far I've lost ten lbs after surgery. Been having problems getting all the fluids. Feels like gas bubbles or chest pain with I think means I drank to much at one time. Which is hard when I feel thirsty a lot. I am still taking the pain meds they gave to us. Tried to just take the liquid Tylenol today and I was not able to get out much and do anything. I know thus is the resting stage but i feel like I should be able to walk more than a few blocks.

I'm two days post op. And the first day after surgery I felt like I could take on the world. Guess the button at hospital was keeping down the pain. When I got home was in a lot if pain cause of gas and air bubbles. Learned to take slow deep breathes and sip on my clear liquids, on about two ounces right now. But still taking the prescription every 6 hours. Am doing breathing exercise after every sip of liquids. Each day I hope is better.

Am four hours out of surgery. Am doing great so far. In a little bit of pain but the button pushers works wonder. Been eating ice chips have got up and walked around the hallway. Love that I went ahead and got surgery. Am looking forward to a healthier life.

I'm two days away from surgery date, start tomorrow on clear liquids. Been drinking only shakes for one week and putting a teaspoon of sugar free pudding to thicken it up for a different taste. This week with the shakes only been losing 1 to 2 pounds a day. Scared of the pain afterwards that everyone talks about. But excited for the outcome of all. Getting this surgery cause when my mom was in hospital this last time and doctor said she would not of had such bad health issues if she had not carried around 100 lbs extra her whole life. That made my decision. I don't think of myself fat but a healthy stocky person. But when I'm already having issues like mom I then scheduled appt.

I'm June 24th, and am excited but nervous. My sister had it done the 18th of June and I'm at her house helping her do stuff. Idk what we do when I have surgery. But she is doing very good. ????

Make sure u are eating all ur protein and drinking ur water is what I was told
