    It has been a week and a half since surgery and I have lost only about 8 pounds. From what I have seen and heard from others about their weight loss, this doesn't seem like the norm. What am I doing wrong?

      You're complaining because you've "only" lost about 8 lbs in approximately 12 days ? Seriously ?? You might want to rethink . Everyone is different, your body will let go of the extra weight when its ready to. As long as you're following your Dr.s rules, consider yourself a BIG SUCCESS !! Stop using the scale as the only measure of success, it will just drive you crazy. Loose clothes, more energy, health problems disappearing, those are good goals to look for, the weight loss will follow. Good luck !!
