is there anybody that lives in Pennsylvania that has Keystone health plan East that has had the sleeve or the bypass I was denied because they said they do not do the surgery when I know there has been people that have had this surgery that have this coverage I just need to know who did the surgery so maybe I can get help

Philly here I got turned down by my insurance company keystone health plan east my insurance says they don't cover bariatric surgery so I can't appeal because they don't cover it I can't get new coverage till open enrollment in November very depressed but I'm fighting back trying to find another way my bmi is 45.8 any ideas would be greatlyappreciate it

Anyone get approved for surgery with this insurance.

I was just told by my surgeon that independence Blue Cross is saying that my policy does not cover bariatric surgery so there's no appeal process if its not covered under my Coverage. I also found out from independence Blue Cross that none of their coverages cover bariatric surgery which is insane so i can't appeal and i can't get better coverage because none of there plans cover it.

I was just told that my surgery was not covered but my blue cross health plan east coverage denied I'm not taking this news very well
