I was tired of being dissatisfied with how I felt .. and what I saw in the mirror. The final straw was my son's wedding and the photos of me made me start my search for weight loss measures. My husband is genetically thin but to his credit he is careful with what he eats. When the waitress asks to see the dessert menu, he has no problem saying no thank you because he really doesn't like sweets. UGH! What I would give to have less hunger.

In my internet search, the sleeve was appealing to me because of the removal of some of the hunger glands in the larger curvature of the stomach. My BMI is 32 -33 - obese but not enough to qualify for the Sleeve procedure in the US I was told. So I found a wonderful sponsor through a web search and am scheduled for sleeve surgery in Mexico this month of June 2014.

Nervous, yes - but ready to start a new beginning to me. I want to like what I see and I want not to limp when I get up in the mornings. I can truly say - I am excited about this more than anything I have been excited about in a very long time.
