Wow! It was almost like I heard myself thinking in your post! I've had the same thoughts and fears. I talked with people about it before surgery only a little and now, I'm 4 weeks post op and only talk about it with my support friends and those who ask about it. Things are going well so far and clothes are starting to fit looser. I'm starting to get excited when I was scared and cautious before. It'll be great!

That's awesome! I'm doing well. Eating soft foods and so far so good.

Good luck with surgery! The 2 week liquid diet was rough on me, hang in there! Just keep doing what your surgeon says to. I'm 2 weeks post op - rny - it's a big adjustment and can be tough. I live in the Copperfield area so close by. Keep posted and we can keep up.

I had my gastric bypass last Wednesday the 28th. Home now. Sore, but grateful for pain meds. Hard to get all the water in. Gained weight during my hospital stay?! Glad to be on this side!

I live in Houston. Just had my surgery last Wednesday. How about you guys?
