    Hi Kristi Welcome to our group. We are all here for you whenever you need to chat. This little group has helped me through all of my isues and answered all of my questions, I would not have done as well as I have with out them. I live and work in Albany would love to meet up and have lunch with you. Leslie and I do lunch every week, so just pm me and we can do lunch. Take care.

    Bagweaver, I thought the y opened at 5:30. Does it open earlier? If so I may need to bump my time up a little more because I ran out this morning like my hair was on fire and was still about 10 minutes late for work. Leslie had to chase me across the parking lot with my cell phone that i left in the locker room. You really should consider joining us if you can. I really enjoy our workouts and it is so much better with someone to talk with and keep you motivated. Leslie has become my official lapband support system. I think we are going to try to go in the mornings so that we are more consistant with our workouts and so that we have more free time in the afternoons. My house looks like a tornado hit it and has for quite some time because i am finally focusing on me and not everything else in the world. Any way i am rambling yall take care and keep up all the hard work!

    Couch to 5k.....come join me!!

    Ok I just did week 2 day 1 and I am so excited about this! I never imagined I would like to run, but i think it will be my new favorite past time very soon. What are the others of you setting as your speed? I am walking at 3.5 and jogging at 5.0 should i be going faster or slower? I am worried i may do this wrong and end upo hurting something and not finishing. Thanks for the help!

    Georgia I am so excited about November. I am sure we will do great if we have to walk it will be ok, I am sure we will not be the only ones. I just realized that the 5K will be two days after my one year bandiversary! I could not have even dreamed of doing a 5k last year, my band is awesome!!!

    Hi everyone. I am Jeannie and have been lurking on here for quite a while. I have been working on week one for a couplke of weeks now, so i guess it is time to move to week two. (Leslie, I'll see you tomorrow!! Are you going to week three?) My question is have any of you actually put this trainign into action and done a 5k? I am going to do one in Novemebr and am a little worried I may not be ready. ANY input would be appreciated. Thanks yall!

With 8 weeks i want to lose 20 pounds, so 2.5 pounds a week, I can do that if my body will cooperate...   16. Applebees is good fro me too. Everytime i go to Chillis I leave mad because they mess up my order, besides chillis is newer and usually more crowded than Applebees.

    Independence Day Challenge

  22. Nip I am so impressed with your weight loss, I on the other hand have slowed to nothing and can't seem to figure out why. I eat 1400 calories or less per day I walk atleast 4 days a week and I am pretty active with my family on the weekend. If you have any suggestions on how you kept yours up I would love to hear them. take care Jeannie
