I'm having my sleeve on June 3. I'm a terrible procrastinator which means I am totally unprepared! I was wondering if anyone could help me out with things I need to have at home when I'm released from the hospital? What were your preferences?!? Protein shakes? Vitamins? Foods? liquids? Medications? Other misc? Help me! I feel so unprepared!!!

I've been shaking. No blending yet. I've been afraid that blending would be to thick. The numbness finally wore off this morning - makes me so thankful I had it those first few days after surgery. Now I can feel all the muscles in my stomach and man are they sore! -

I've tried with skim milk, almond milk, and water so far. Several different flavors/brands. My tummy just can't take it - one or two tiny sips and I'm queasy. -

I was sleeved on Tuesday. I turned a corner this afternoon and I'm finally feeling better! Now I just have to figure out how to get my protein in... My new tummy seems to be pretty picky about what it will tolerate... So far, the shakes are a no go -

I'm a 30 year old wife and mom of 3 kids(9,7,&4). With each pregnancy I gained a few (or 25) pounds. The weight stuck with me and now I am 5'4" and 237 lbs. I'm super nervous about the surgery itself and the recovery afterwards. Also, I haven't followed the pre-surgery diet like I should have! Any words of encouragement would be helpful!!!

As I said before, my surgery is June 3. Wow! It's close and I'm nervous. I am 5'4" and currently 237 pounds. My goal weight is 130. I'm looking for a pen pal of sorts. Maybe someone to exchange emails with to help keep me sane through this process! Anyone interested?!?

My surgeon told me that they would use my initial weight for insurance purposes - and that it wouldn't hurt if I lost weight before surgery.
