Hi post ops!!! I have not had the surgery yet. I had a question about food choices. I've noticed that a lot of you could only eat certain things. I am A super picky eater.... And scared that if I have the surgery that sticking to the diet will be hard. Anyone have this problem? And if so what did u do to overcome it?

Oh wow I swear my hubby and I just talked about this the other day! He has always been attracted to bigger girls and I was worried if I did this that he just wouldn't be interested. He reassured me that if me losing weight meant I was healthier and happier then he was there with me 1000%. He said no matter what he wasn't going anywhere. I think he knew I needed those words of encouragement.

I can completely relate to your number seven as well. My hubby is HAWT and in the military. When we are out together people look at us like ... What are they doing together?!? I hate that look ????

In the meantime, do all the homework you can on your surgery. Being totally prepared will ease a lot of anxiety about the surgery. Hi everyone! I have just decided this past week to pursue weight loss surgery. My PCP says that I should have the bypass. I can't take hearing how pretty I would be if I lost weight another time. My final straw was lying to my husband..... He is taking me on a cruise for our anniversary... We were deciding on flying or driving. I lied to him... I told him I was scared of flying so we agreed We would drive to the port.... I can't take any of this anymore. I want a life of less fear and more LIVING. I just pray that I will qualify and not have any issues getting this done. I need help!!!

Oh I am already ready for that call. I'll do the happy fat girl dance. I don't care who sees it lol

My pcp said my insurance company is notorious for denying people wanting weightless surgery, even if it is proven medically necessary. She is just preparing me. She told me that she will do whatever it takes to get me the surgery though. Gotta love that lady

My pcp informed me Friday that she believes I should have the bypass instead of the sleeve. There seems to be a lot Of people that have had success with the sleeve.... Now I'm confused on which one I should do.

It's a work in progress for me. I just wondered if people did certain things to help get over the pickiness. It's a scary thought to change how I have ate my entire life.

I've got plenty I wanna lose lol. I just hope that everything goes smoothly on the path to getting on and off the surgeons table! Lol yeah we all have that thought in the back of our heads. I know I do... But well be knocked out up until the surgery is over we won't feel/know a thing. Which I guess is a plus for us. Like my surgeon said.. Surgery is the easy part lol..I feel so impatient because I just got started and the days seem to just dragggg lol. I'm excited though!Lol, I'm done with the 6mnths process.. Thank god. I prayed every single day that this would go good.. To my surprise so far it has ( I don't wanna jinx anything. ) I'm just waiting on that freaking call. GOD !! Please callI just got started. I can't afford to go to Mexico . I have been getting emails like crazy from different bariatric practices from there.
