That's good to hear! Soda was one of the hardest things to give up... Pasta a close second. These headaches are noooo fun and I've noticed the more I drink the better they tend to get. But I still take migraine stuff from time to time. Jello and popcicles are saving me to a point. I'd also have to say I drink about 6-8 large bottles of Water and occasionally some tea. It's so nice to talk to someone on here who's not real far out but has already had the surgery. Speaking of which, my dr is doing mine as outpatient?!? He does all sleeves this way. I find it kinda odd. Almost everyone is in the hospital for a day or two.

Ohhh ok! So how's life after surgery? I'm soo anxious! Day one down 13 to go! :/ it's tough but doable. I miss good but it's in my head... Being up late isn't helping! I live in Vegas and it's 1:35am (not sure where you're at ) Hoping tomorrow is easier. I do notice myself not caring about certain foods. So I guess that's good? I just can't wait to get it over with and start my new life! Christmas will be exciting this year! new clothes!! LOL that's part of my motivation. Ohhh and did anything kill the headaches? Water and stuff just isn't helping Headed to bed, the 4 year old will be up way too soon!

I agree! We ca do it! August 7th surgery date is only 2 weeks! So close yet so far away

I'm gonna stick to my salads with protein for dinners up until surgery. I hope I will be okay with it after I can go back on solids after surgery! I LOVE salad. Subways are amazing

Living in Vegas with 2 new water parks, I'm looking forward to next summer! So I can walk in there without having people look and act like Shamu escaped! LOL (not funny, but the feeling is oh sooo true)

I just survived Subway with my mom!!! Lol that's been the hardest test so far. My 9th wedding anniversary is the 6th of August. The day before surgery. I'm hoping the hubby has big plans considering I can't eat. But... My big celebration will be on my 10th a year later. We're having a wedding /vow renewal with a big reception. I can't wait to look amazing I'm my dress! That's a big part of my motivation!

It's horrible having to meet for lunch and all you can have is a drink. My kids know I can't eat so they're being pretty nice about it. Considering they're 8 & 4.

I'm going to get some coconut milk today! These Premier Protein shakes, I have to say aren't real bad! Drinking one now... My kids are having Cereal and man.... Never thought I'd miss honey but Cheerios! LOL

I'm drinking the premier Protein ready to drink shakes, in between makin my own. I got a binder at my dr.s office with a list of the things we could get. Also there are some recipes. Everything has to be 20+ Protein grams and 5g or less of sugar. I however get dinner. A very lean and small portion of protein and bright veggies. Such as a salad... I have to say, the premier shakes are not bad!

Sgreen721- thanks for the tips! I'm gonna try the vanilla. I just bought the Protein powder, ready to drink shakes, and stuff to make smoothies that are in my binder. I'm allergic to Almond Milk, so I'll try it with coconut milk. I liked the almond milk too, totally sucks I broke out with blisters for a week! The Peanut Butter one sounds real good! I LOVE peanut butter I appreciate the tips

I bought the premier Chocolate today. My date is 2 weeks away and boy it can't come fast enough! Waiting for a date and approval is nerve wracking too!

Excited to ride, rides comfortably at theme parks, not catch hell for being "Big", look amazing in my wedding dress for my vow renewal next year, be able to shop at new stores like, Victoria Secret, for other things then bath products!!! and finally.... Play comfortably with my kiddos!

Just got the call! Insurance approved and I'm scheduled for surgery on 8-7! I'm so nervous and happy I can't even begin to explain. Only part that makes me kinda sad is I'm having surgery the day after my 9th wedding anniversary. So no nice dinner or anything special in that aspect. Hubby doesn't seem too thrilled about the surgery at all, but he'll come around. EXCITED as a kid on Christmas
