Thank you so much for this thread! I'm 3 weeks out today from my flight to TJ and 3 weeks tomorrow is my surgery. It's all getting real now and this day-by-day post is settling my sudden nerves. -

I don't officially start until NEXT Monday so this week I'm doing shake meal replacement once a day at the beginning of the week and moving towards all-liquid. Still waiting for my shake samples to come in the mail too! -

Two week liquid diet here too! I'm hitting my favorite places here in town over the next couple of days, then starting on half-liquid for a week to get used to it, then 2 weeks hard core. We were on vacation last week with our mail/UPS held so tomorrow I start ordering shakes and such.

I'm at Walt Disney World celebrating our anniversary and as soon as we get home this weekend, I'm hopping on the liquid diet. It's not required yet but makes sense to me. July 1st surgery for me.

Hubby and I are celebrating our 15th anniversary (early) at Walt Disney World. We're staying at the Grand Floridian and have the Deluxe Dining Plan which is a TON of food. Trying to take it slow, enjoy, celebrate, and know that when I get home this weekend, it's HELLO LIQUID DIET for me. It's gonna be a shock.

Hubby and I head to the Grand Floridian at Walt Disney World tomorrow for our anniversary trip... and we have Deluxe Dining. I just have to remind myself I don't have to eat all of everything.

Flying & Travel Tips for novice traveler?

Every time I fly I ask for a seatbelt extender. At just over 300lbs and 5'7, I'm an apple shape and need it most of the time. I want to be comfortable and since I usually pre-board as well, no one knows but me and the flight attendant. I'm a travel agent and fly a lot - you'll be fine! And definitely on the wheelchair! I included that info when I booked my flights with US Air. Flying from Myrtle Beach! -
