How is everyone doing. I am doing good except for the pain in my tummy. An not being able to drink everything I drink hurts going down but excited to start this new journey.

Good luck with Joes Crab Shack... that is my fav.... I know I will slip up. And I know I am only human. But I do know I am doing this all for the right reasons. We are all human. We make mistakes and we learn from them. This sleeve is no different. I will pray and give thanks to the good Lord for allowing me the courage to do this. I have never gotten scared. Maybe when Monday rolls around I might. But hopefully I will not. I have to be at the hospital at 8:30 a.m. I only wish it was earlier. I don’t want to think about drinking or eating. What is everyone doing this weekend to get ready for the big day? Good luck to everyone and best wishing for a speedy recovery.

June 16th is almost here!!! The liquid diet has been rough. I have slipped and gotten off of it a few times. Eating more Protein things. But most of it has been good. I think this weekend is going to be very slow. It looks like Monday will never come. I am 13 lbs down. Hoping that is good. I am pushing for 17 lbs. before Monday. Going this weekend and get things needed for my 2 weeks of fluids. How is everyone else getting ready this weekend for the new life we are about to have. Excited and happy for a new beginning.

Just got mine in yesterday. Can't wait to start reading it. 5 days till my sleeve.... so this is going to be a good book to understand my new life.

I am starting my 2 week liquid diet 6/9/14. It is day 5 and I am so tired of Protein shakes. Anyone want to be a buddy? :)

Hi, I started my 2 week pre op liquid diet on June 9th. Lucky you to have food… I can only have liquid diet. I started with the Protein shakes. I do 3 a day. I can’t take the sweet so I started with protein Soup. I doctor it up with a little salt and pepper. I have lost 7.5 lbs. in 4 days. Good luck and glad to keep in touch to see how we progress.

I just spoke to my husband and asked that we stay busy this weekend. (I am on my 2 weeks of pre op liquid diet) So what he says to me “Baby we are going get bikes so we can start to ride in the park”. So excited.

I am in day 5 of liquid diet... it is getting better .. can't wait for June 16th... enough of the sweet protein shakes... I started for lunch with chicken broth with protein in it.. so it has gotten better ... I am now 7.5 pounds lost... can I say excited.. good luck everyone...
