That's pretty much my experience so far. I am all approved. I have my surgery in two weeks. I will owe the surgeon $450, and the hospital $4750... This will be my out of pocket. But doesn't include what I paid for the psychology, and the workups and stuff. But after my deductible was met, my workups and stuff are a lot cheaper. That's one thing to think about. Find out the fiscal year of the surgery, and have everything done at the beginning, so you can take advantage of the met deductible to save some money. I'm in Miss...

yeah, You can purchase it after the surgery "if" needed. But the weight loss may fix your apnea. I sure hope I can breath easier at night.

I have heard the PET class was good. Trish is supposed to be teaching it. Last night, I went to a group meeting, and It was nice to talk to all the others who were about to / have already had the surgery. I hope my insurance pays like it should. I have heard so many horror stories. March the 24th. So that is about two months. Are you happy with your results? Tom.

Congrats! That is very soon. Did you have any obstacles? Anything off the wall I should be looking out for? I have sleep apnea. I am on the threshold of 41-40%, so I don't want to lose too much, ya know?

Have you all learned anything new with GEHA? I have been on the 6 month visits, and next week is my PET class and Psych review. I have GEHA, and I am worried that they will deny for some reason.
