Hi, I am schedule for sept 10th, currently on my pre- op diet. It is my 6th day and I' ve only lost 2 pound? How about you? Wonder if this is an ok number?

Premier protein morning, lunch, snack, dinner high protein low in carbs and late snack cup of Low fat yogurt. Are you working out and what wre you stat? Cw 255 5"6

oh wow my pre- op started today, I am starving and very lightheaded, however, I know it get better. Let share the time of surgery, don't know at what time mine will be.

I finally have my pre-op appt, that should I expect on that day? Will I get surgery day?

Submitted all paper work last Thursday. Surgeon suppose to review paper work. Don't even know when they will submit to cigna. How long did you wait for your pre-op appt?

Hey everyone submitted my paper work Thursday. I guess it needs to be review by the surgeon and submitted to the insurance. Omg!!! The wait is killing me,,,!!

hello again, so I submitted all my papers. the desk girl told me they need to be review by the surgeon and I guess then submitted to cigna. How long was this process for you?

Hi everyone started my process. Today was my first NUT appt. I have to complete a 3 moth journey w/ dietitian. I am in the borderline BMI, 41.8. I am concerned; wonder ifI lose to much weight I will get disqualified for surgery. Then again I can not gain anymore either( is summertime). Any one with Cigna that can advice me? Thank you.

Now I am freaking out a bit...my file is in reconsideration at Cigna because of the 3 month diet and 2nd physician clearance....my surgeon thought they didn't see the documents now I'm concerned about the time periods. I have a signed release from my pcp and can get a care summery recommending surgery, but my 3 month diet was February 2nd, March 2nd and April 1st....surgery scheduled for April 22nd. If I am understanding this document correctly, I don't have enough diet days. Crap Crap Crap!!! . Hi, I was wondering how did it go with you 3 visits, did you have to do one more to complete the 89 days? I have my last visit on August 4th which is number 4, however they do not equal to 89days.

My approval from Cigna was really quick. It was my doctor's office that gave the challenge. It took them submitting paperwork to Cigna 3x to get my approval.... their fax machine apparently was not submitting all of the needed pages. Two denial and ONE approval letter later, here I stand awaiting my date from the doctor's office. Hopefully I will have something tomorrow. hi girl I also have Cigna. I am doing my supervised visits, on august 4 th I will have my 4th visit (only needed three) however, they do not equal to 89 days or more? Did you do the supervised NUT?

I will keep you posted, let you know what they tell me tomorrow.

I will give them a call tomorrow, it has been bothering a little bit. I will question them on this. Thank you.

hello there, so I have to ask you ? My appt with surgeon Was on May 13, the May 27 my first nut appt, then June 17 2nd nut appt, July 7 third appt and final one is August 4. In total I had 4 visit, however, they do not equal to 89 days. Will this still be a problem.

Hi everyone, in the process. Tomorrow I have my appt with the cardiologist. Already had my psych eval and endoscopy. Aug 4th is my last supervise visit, so hope fully surgery will be for the beginning of sept. I will keep you posted.
