Disappointment……… just want to complain about my day I had. I had my surgery on June 12, 2008. Two weeks later was my follow up visit. At my follow up they set up for my first fill for today 7/29/08. However when I got to the appointment today ten minutes after my appointment time I found out that my doctor was out of town and no fill would happen. I was so frustrated because last time I was there they talked about how its first come first serve and get there early. I was there over an hour early. I had paid for visit and sat in the waiting room and only found out after I went asked. I was told they called everyone and canceled. I don’t have any call on my home or cell phones from them. Another girl and I sat there for no reason. I had taken the day off and drove for almost 2 hours to get there (because of all the traffic.) and then an hour and half back home all for nothing. When I was there the nurse said I could come back on August 12<SUP>th</SUP> see another doctor or I would have to wait until the end of August to see my doctor. I just told her to make the appointment for the 12. Now I’m thinking I should call her and wait to see my doctor. Back when I had my follow up from my surgery it was stressed how the first few times you need to see your doctor do the fill. Then you could schedule with other doctors in the office. So now I think I should see my doctor. Then on the other had I also feel like I should just go on the 12 and get my first fill………… Thanks anyone who just read. I know there’s nothing I can really do but suck it up and move on

My surgery is this Thursday 06/12/08. I think I’m so stressed / nervous about this that I’ve developed an itchy feeling on my left side and left side of my stomach. This started Saturday and I’ve been putting Cortaid/Hydrocortisone this area. The Cortaid is not even reducing this itch feeling at all. The itchy feeling is still there. It’s driving me crazy. I’m sure this just in my head because I look at the area and there is no rash or anything. I haven’t changed my laundry soap, shower soaps or any other cleaning items. My pre-op appointment is Friday 6/6. I’m excited about all that’s going to happen. But I’m also super scared. I keep thinking I’ll never wake up from the surgery. Yikes……. <o:p> </o:p> I want eat regular food sooooooooooooo bad. But I not cheating because I’m afraid of what could go wrong during surgery if I don’t stick to this. <o:p> </o:p> I know how to create the ticker / tracker and how to copy and paste it. I want to have lap-band done. My bf said I should just eat less and exercise. This makes me so mad. He just don’t understand how hard it is. He has seen me loose weight in the past but I had to take tons of diet pills. Once they stopped selling diet pills with Effedra I can’t lose weight. I’ve gain all my weight back plus. I’ve been on tons of diets and diet pills. I just want to be done with all that. I was able to quit smoking 9 years ago with using Zyban. With weight you can’t just stop eating. You need to eat to live. I think this is the best thing for me. I currently have an appointment to talk with my doctor about this. I wish there was a way for my bf could understand what I going through. We’ve been together for 11 years. I’m 5’ 2” 245 BMI 44.8 :cry
