As of today I am 9 pounds and 6 days out. My only struggle is getting all the fluids. Yesterday I had doctors appt and I was at the beginning stages if dehydration. I didn't know. My heart rate was 125 sitting in the doctors chair. He called my surgeon and they said dehydration. Doing much better today. Even walked almost a mike with my 3 kids!

My pen pal and I had a successful pkg exchange! It is is always fun when you get a pkg in the mail!
She has been really supportive on this journey!

Don't obess with the scales. The first month you should focus on letting your body heal...it has been through a lot!

Good for you -- walk walk walk and remember to stay hydrated so drink those tiny sips of Water often! 8 lbs is good, it'll get better and eventually, the pounds will be melting off and you'll feel amazing! Good Luck!

My dream job would be A Movie Critic! I love watching movies and then talking about them!

I am living my dream job....bossing people around I want my own business and that's the direction i am heading into..

I have no idea and have been asking myself this question since size 20.

My surgeon required at least 2 months nicotine-free before he would operate, so I had to plan ahead to make sure I met his requirements. I quit on February 25th and have surgery scheduled for July 8th. Couldn't be happier to consider myself a non-smoker now!

I am a smoker and have set a goal to quit before I get sleeved. I want to lose this weight because I want to be a healthier version of me! Just can't see going through all this and continuing the dreadful, stinky, expense, socially unacceptable habit! Sound like I'm ready?

So, I was thinking, how fun would it be to have a monthly pen pal? Someone new each month to send a box of goodies or things that you have found helpful. It is something that I have been thinking about for sometime now and would like to get started. There would of course be a spending limit and some general rules but I wanted to get a feel as to if anyone would be interested in participating.

The surgery does seem to be a long time away but I promise it will fly by. I had to go to the dr. for 6 months before my insurance would pay for it. I thought to myself, this is gonna take forever but low and behold it flew by. So be patient. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What paperwork are you having to get together? I just decided to get the surgery and I have a date of June 23rd, which seems a long time away!
