I am new to this forum. At this point I am waiting for insurance approval (for the second time). This is in response to the woman who has trouble walking. I am in the same boat--knees, hips, and back are in rough shape. For exercise, I have found Water walking and water aerobics are PAIN FREE!! This has helped me become more active. Fortunately, I live in an area with a rec. dept. that has many pools and offers many chances for water classes as well as time to do your own thing. Good luck with your exercise.
