I'm nervous and excited

Today is the day. I'm still nervous and excited. My check in is not until noon. Surgery at 2.

Everything went smooth. Very minimal pain. Walking slowly but walking. Best wishes to everyone on the journey

Tomorrow is my day too. Praying for a speedy recovery

Like the others have stated its the caffeine. I'm on day 4. No headaches but I gave up caffeine in November. Best wishes on your journey.

Is going better than expected. My hubby will not agree, I've been keeping myself busy with cleaning. I realize that I eat out of boredom and not hunger. I went in for my final weight in before surgery and paid my deductible. There's no going back. Best wishes to everyone on this journey

He doesn't want me to have surgery. But he's coming around. My keeping busy drives him crazy.

((Vent)) I eat when I'm happy, I eat when I'm sad. Today I took my hubby to Breakfast for Fathers Day. I'm sure we will be eating out for dinner. Prior to this weekend I've lost a total of 15 pounds. Tomorrow is the first day of my preop diet. BIG SIGH. I've been overweight 20+ years. I should be able to do 7 days without cheating. I'm getting a headache just thinking about it. Time to go buy some broth and sf Jello. I know it is worth the struggle!

I know that we all lose differently. I'm just curious to see how much was lost by those around the same size as me. My highest was 299 currently 285. Pre op starts on June 16. Surgery June 23. I have found this forum very helpful during my journey.

The closer my date nears the more anxiety I have. I was diagnosed a few years back. I know that it is normal but I always take it to an extreme. I love this forum where I can just get things off of my chest, especially with people who know exactly how I feel. I'm scheduled for June 23. Keep me in your prayers. I'm scheduled for June 23. Too much time for me to think. I'm now considering RNY. Several of my coworkers have had Lap band, sleeve or RNY with varying degrees of success and failure.

Thanks everyone. I tend to over analyze everything. My Dr said that I'm a good candidate for either procedure and left the decision up to me. If it makes any sense I'm afraid to be too small, not that I know what that is I've been over weight my entire adult life. HW299 CW286

My hubby is not on board either. We are both overweight. Im 5'4 HW 299 CW 286 surgery June 23 I can't convince him. so I still cook his favorite meals and I eat my trees and bark.

I'm a 39 year old wife and mother HW 299 CW 287 I'm scheduled for June 23. Due to my BMI I didn't have to jump through a lot of hoops. It's great how supportive the group is. Dr Carlin out of Henry Ford Hospital Detroit.

I didn't need records sent over either. I received a packet of info from surgeons office before my appt. I highly suggest bringing a support person to all appts if possible. My hubby does not support my decision . Most visits I was alone. But I was ok with that. My mom is my greatest support throughout this entire process.
