I had my Gastric bypass in 2004. It. Was the best thing I could have done for me. I lost weight. I was hiking, riding bike, jumping on the trampoline. Life was great. The day I hit my 125 pound mark however it all stopped. I had a bad car accident. The next thing I knew I was in terrible pain, hardly able to move. Suddenly I was on a bunch of medications and sleeping all the time. My family would wake me up to feed me slush puppies and grilled cheese. Within a month I had gained 20 pounds. Well here it is 8 years later and I am still trying to reclaim my life. I know ONE thing for certain I am not going to keep this weight on. So I have begun the process of a revision to my gastric bypass. I hope to have a surgery date in 3 weeks. I know there is more to life then looks but I also know when I was thinner I felt so much better physically and mentally.
