I don't drink tea but they served me hot tea in the hospital. The problem Ive seen with tea and coffee with sleevers is some-not all-have had issues with leaks. The tannic acid in tea and coffee is the culprit. I just drank enough Mio, like literally a shot glass full just to kill the headaches. They were crippling me.

I thought the pain meds would help me with the caffeine headaches and I was SO WRONG!! I was on morphine in the hospital and Percocet after and STILL had caffeine headaches. When I got home I started doing small shots of Mio Energy mixed with water and that was the only way I could kill those awful headaches. Caffeine is considered a drug for a reason!

I had a traumatic childhood. I never learned how to be normal or knew what a normal life was. Then I married at 24 and moved 2k miles away from home and fell into a deep depression. It took me over a decade to gain over 100 pounds. It took me a very long time to realize that I was medicating with food. After I figured it and my life out, I didn't know how to stop medicating. This surgery forced me to and forced me to deal with my past and my feelings. -

Sleeved 5-21-14. Down 56 pounds.

The same thing happened to a person in my wls group. He was never a drinker, never touched alcohol, in fact. He had elevated liver enzymes but nothing astronomical, so did I. Doc opened him up and he had cirrhosis of the liver and wasn't able to have the surgery.

I hadn't heard a thing before surgery about when to drink fluids until I joined this board. So when I had my first consult after surgery I asked. My NUT said there are no rules on drinking as far as they were concerned. I drink during meals and have had no problems. I had my surgery May 21st and I'm down almost 50 pounds with no complications.

Husband says No to me having surgery!

I don't know what to tell you because my husband doesn't tell me what I can or cannot do. You're a grown adult that can make decisions about your own body for yourself. Don't ask permission from ANYBODY about what to do with your body. -

It's a balancing act and stalls happen. I had my surgery May 21st and just busted through a 3 week long stall. I was going crazy and having various conversations in my head. Did I eat too much? Am I eating too many carbs? Should I walk longer? Faster? Turned out that all I needed to do was increase my protein and calories by a little. As long as you're not grazing and not eating fries and sugar all day, you're not doing anything wrong. You just may need to adjust a little.

I'm a little over two months and I noticed if I don't keep my carbs down to 30g or less, I'm hungry all day. Also this is what happens to me if I don't drink enough water. -
Checking in, y'all. The weight loss has been as slow as a turtle dipped in molasses but I finally lost. SW 264 and I'm now 260.8. I broke this particular stall by consuming more protein. Hoping the scale keeps going down this week!

I used Tyson premium chunk white chicken. You can definitely use rotisserie. I just bought some today :-)

I hope you like it :-)
