Ive been home since Thursday. Not that much discomfort. Just taking it easy. I have alot of puffiness from IV fluids. Hopefully, it will come off soon.

Hi Brittu,
I am almost three years out from the band surgery and have gainred back the weight I lost due to being stuck and eatingslider foods just to get some nutriton. I have an appointment with my doctor on Thursday and will ask him about a revision for my surgery. How long did it take to have your surgery and did you have it laproscopic or open?

Want to start running...need encouragement

I wanted to start running too. How do i get the podcast couch to 5k? I walk 2-3 miles every other day and would like to start running to increase weightloss. -
I was just wondering if anyone just does exercise at home and have lost the weight? It is getting cold here where I live and would like to start back losing the weight, but I have time constraints with school and working 2nd shift. Money is a factor as well, so I just cannot go and buy a treadmill or something.

I got the Realize band and I really like it. It took me awhile to get restriction but now I ahave 8cc in my band and now the weight is coming off. -
Stapled, Stitched, or Glued???

I had internal stitches and my incisions were glued and he covered them with steri strips. Once the steri strips came off, my incisions were closed. My incisions look pretty good for being 3 weeks out. Caramel:ranger: -
Hi all, Im back. I was banded on dec 12th too and came home the same day. I am a little sore and stomach is bloated. I took a shower this morning and feel a 100% better. I have not had to take that liquid Viocodin because my pain is bearable. Everytime I drink I have hiccups, like I need to burp. I have had cream of chicken Soup, Jello, tea, Water and apple juice. I have had loose stools. I amm only able to take sips because of the fullness I get when I sip. My doctor installed the new Realize band that just came out 1 month ago. I can not wait to see what happens next. I wish all you guys luck and I will talk to you guys later. Caramel
