My surgeon just moved to my area about 6 months ago. He used to have a lot of support groups but doesn't have any here. I don't personally know anyone that is banded or about to be.

I'm on the sugarbusters diet. It is true that once you get used to it, a lot of the sweet cravings go away. -

Thank you very much! I shouldn't have been smoking in the first place. I have cardiomyopathy.This is my year to do everything I can so I can be here as long as I can. Thank you and God bless! -

Cutting out sugar. Can only have 30 grams a day. Drinking a lot of protein shakes.

Preop dieting since the 6th and I stopped smoking. Its been rough. Surgery is the 26th. -

Hello, I had also had to have supervised weight loss appts for 6 months as well as a syche evaluation and appt with a dietition. Guess I spelled that right,anyway time flies. My surgery is on the 26th. Don't give up! Best of luck too you! -
