I was banded on 9/25/07. I too went through so much pain with gas. I think it hurt worse than the incision sites (even the port site) I have been taking Extra strength Gas X and sometimes Beano. There have been two days where I really didn't feel excruciating pain inside my tummy and today was one. Every day I have felt a little better though. Hang in there, they say the gas gets better.
