Hello, My name is Amanda and I married to a wonderful husband and 6 wonderful boys! I have been battling with my weight for the last 10 years and it has finally taken its toll on me and severely affected my life. I started this journey when I went to my doctor (Kaiser patient) and cried to him that I can't do this anymore and he talked to me about the Bariatric Sleeve. I walked into the initial consultation and for the first time in 10 years, felt like I wasn't alone. everyone was so kind and helpful and told me about this site. I have done a lot of research on every aspect of the surgery and found great support from this site. I love coming on here a couple times a day and hearing everyones stories and advice about their journey! When I read about people who have been out of the surgery for some time it gives me hope and makes me work so much harder towards what I want, a healthy lifestyle and no more depression and anxiety.
