Dreamin Again replied to jessiquoi's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Congratulations! It is going to be difficult but you will be a stronger person by going through this journey. I havent had surgery yet nor have I even set a date (I am hoping for November) but I am already learning that I am stronger then I ever gave myself credit for. Good luck! You can do this -
Mad at myself for slipping
Dreamin Again replied to acampbell1318's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
So you slipped once. Get on with the rest of your life. There are going to be slips in life. Don't beat yourself up. Pick yourself up and dust off your britches. You can do this girl! I was told they expect 90% compliance and 10% "oops". It happens to most everyone. -

What Are Some Things You Can't Wait for POST OP?
Dreamin Again replied to Denise73's topic in Pre-op Diets and Questions
Oh my gosh! I just finished showering and getting ready for work. One of the top three things I can't wait for is to be able to get ready to go somewhere and not be all sweaty before I even get out the door! -

Coming Out of the Weight Loss Surgery Closet: What, Whether, Why, and How
Dreamin Again replied to Alex Brecher's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Magazine
I am still very early in the process. I am hoping to have my surgery mid November. I have gone back and forth with this issue and I just haven't made up my mind what to do yet. Of course the members of my household know I am considering it and they are pretty supportive but I think about how my other family members will react. They have never really supported me in important matters before so I am unsure what to do. I have to tell them something because my niece is my boss and I doubt I can just get by with telling her I need a week off for "surgery". Some days I am very determined that when the time gets closer I will tell them, at least I will tell my mother then I won't have to inform the rest of them as she will have already done it lol. I know I have time to decide but it does weigh heavily on me. -
Good luck JersRose! I hope everything goes exceptionally well for you! I hope you have a painless and easy recovery.

Passing goal, onderland
Dreamin Again replied to Fullofitx3's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Awesome job! That is exactly the results we want when we decide to go through this surgery Congratulations! -
Good luck to you! You are almost there. It's hard to be on a diet and not lose too much. My PCP told me to only lose 1/2 lb per week...I have NEVER been on a diet when I tried to lose as little as possible. It is very difficult. My husband just laughs at me lol
-
MrsHarris how are you doing? I hope everything went great and you are feeling well!
-
Gosh Mia I don't know what to say about those dreams lol. I have those weird dreams now and I am not post-op yet. I find that I have them when I take Tylenol PM to help me sleep.

How many Supervised Weigh-loss visits did your insurance require?
Dreamin Again replied to christo5's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
