Thanks BeagleLover that is a good idea. I know kids get into mischief. I have three children myself but I hope I have raised mine with more respect for people and their property. Thanks for your suggestions and I will see what everyone on the street thinks.

Hubby just went outside to get in his truck to go somewhere and he got over on the next street before noticing that something didn't feel right and he got out to take a look and both of the tires on the right side of the truck have been slashed! He also noted a very long new scratch down that side of the truck. We just put new tires on the kids car last week and now we have to get two new tires on the truck! The truck just had new tires put on last fall so he is not a happy camper to say the least. How can people be so destructive to other peoples belongings? I am sure it is kids that have too much time on their hands and are bored because it's summer vacation but surely they can find something more constructive to do! Slashing tires and scratching up paint jobs is not as innocent or inexpensive to fix as egging or tping someones house. We are not even sure when it happened because he hasn't driven the truck since Thursday or Friday of last week. I am so frustrated and dare I say it? I am angry also! We have never had anything like this happen here before and we have lived here for almost 10 years.

JCRSMom I also have no pics of myself and my children except when they were very young - you know when you still had to hold them because they couldn't crawl or walk yet lol Oh the good ol' days I will have to take a pic sometime soon so I have a recent 'before' pic because I want to be able to see the changes. Anyway, good luck to all of you and I hope you all get what you want/need out of this journey Take care!

TOMORROW IS MY SURGERY!
Dreamin Again replied to newforyou's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Good luck and I hope you have an uneventful surgery & recovery! -
Mentally you prepare yourself by learning everything you can about your surgery and spending lots of time on this site soaking up all the knowledge and wisdom from the wonderful people on here I don't know about your ins co, sorry. Some surgeons won't do your survey if you smoke, and some test you even right up to the morning of surgery so I would suggest quitting now so that you will feel good by the time of your surgery. Good luck! Keep us posted how you are doing please.

Thank you Madam Reverie We have contacted the police and there are no CCTVs of any kind around in our subdivision. They said it is probably bored kids and they will (especially on the weekends) do more patrolling up and down our street. Cameras being installed are a strong possibility at this point. My husband loved your third suggestion but he agrees with you about vigilantism being illegal - so he will not pursue that avenue as this is what the public needs to hear I am not a drinker but he may have 1 or 6 his next night off call Thank you all for your responses you have made this situation much more bearable. Honestly I am not usually a whiner or complainer but it is nice to finally have somewhere to have a little rant where I know someone will listen and respond, so thank you all!

I wow Kivi97 that is horrible!! I know many have things a lot worse than a couple of slashed tires, I was just so shocked that it happened!
-
Yup I don't have pieces of mind to give away lol
-
Miss Mac you are so right about peace of mind and a camera. I am looking into that as I don't want to have to replace tires on a weekly basis. Thanks for taking time to reply to my rant.

2muchfun sorry you all are having trouble with BB guns in your area. Some people just have no respect for other peoples property. I spoke with some of the neighbors to warn them and see if anyone else has had problems. In the last 2 weeks three other people on our street have also had some problems. The guy across the street last week caught some kids huddled around his neighbors car and scared them off. Luckily for them no damage occurred.

You all have some pretty cool tattoos! I got this a year ago to remind myself that things do change for the better. It's on my foot so I can see it and it won't change shape when I lose weight
-
I hope you are feeling better every day! Congratulations on your surgery. The diet will improve and soon this will all just be a memory for you

That's awesome! I wish I was in July with you but I am hoping for November. Good luck! I hope everything goes smoothly for you

OW NO, CHEATED ON PRE SURGERY DIET!
Dreamin Again replied to newforyou's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You should be fine with just the one little slip up. Don't be too hard on yourself and just keep moving on. Try to remind yourself of why you are doing this. Being hungry is not the worst thing in the world and it will pass Good luck with your surgery! -
Juicing suggestions and time off
Dreamin Again replied to mr.point.of.interest's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Seems like people take off anywhere from 1 week to 4 weeks. It kind of depends on the person I know that's not a lot of help and as I haven't had surgery yet I can't tell you anything more specific than that but I am sure you will get lots of interesting answers, the people on here are great and very helpful. Good luck with your surgery and I hope you have an unremarkable recovery! -

You look beautiful. Congratulations! -
I hope you feel better soon.

Tabby congrats on your weight loss! I think most everyone that has had one of these procedures has experienced a stall or two. They pass. Life goes on. I think there are many threads that exist if you would like to read other peoples experiences with this. Good luck! I hope your stall passes quickly!

Wow Jan that's really great! Congratulations!

On track for November Surgery
Dreamin Again replied to DaronB's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Good luck to all of you. I will finish my PCP visits mid October and I am really hoping for mid November surgery. Daron I think most people get a little stressed/worried about the ins co. As long as we meet all the requirements and complete all their hoop jumping we should be good -
If you are asking for advice...
Dreamin Again replied to gowalking's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
My mom always told me "Never ask a question you don't want to hear the answer to." I think that is awesome advice -
26 days till my new life begins
Dreamin Again replied to kpearson1130's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
i read that you should pack loose comfortable fitting clothes for your trip home, a small firm pillow for between your body and seat belt for on the trip home, hand sanitizer, lip balm, hairbrush, a couple changes of underclothes (just in case ) and socks and/or slippers for walking around after your surgery. I think the hospital will probably provide you with toothpaste and toothbrush, soap and shampoo -- or you can bring your own. Bring chargers for your electronics. books, computer, phone, and movies. I am sure there are other things and I am sure there are lists already on here somewhere. Best of luck to you! -
I am going to let someone with experience answer this but I just wanted to say Good luck on your surgery!

Eating too much too soon?
Dreamin Again replied to BobbieND's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I would think that as long as you are following your surgeon's guidelines for your diet you should be fine. It's great to hear of people that are doing so well immediately following surgery -
