Hello I'm Jamaican borned and I was sleeved on May 30th. It's hard bc all I want is rice and peas with brown stew chicken or ackee, however I am down 31 since May 16th (pre op diet),

Iylabelle, I think it's a great idea checking in weekly.
My surgery went well. Pain is surprisingly non existent. Here's my problem I can't stand the Protein changes and barely tolerate the Isopure drinks. Basically it's been a battle getting in my protein or anything at that.
With that said I'm down 14 since May 30th. Down 28 since May 16th. I've been walking the block every night to help with the nausea. I've also been sucking on ice to help with dry mouth.

Wow congrats on the sleevers. My surgery is Friday May 30th and I was so nervous. Seeing sleevers up and posting is inspiring. I hope to be up and out as soon as possible.
So my surgery is coming up May 30th and I'm completely nervous and anxious. I've started the protein shakes and try not to think about the not eating solid foods. Any words of advice regarding the nervousness and hunger is greatly appreciated.
