Hello everyone, I was banded on June 28, its been a week .Minimal amount of pain my worst episode was having to drink the yellow Fluid from the bowels of hell.,omg that is the most foulest tasting liquid on earth. I'm doing better everyday managed to walk around the neighborhood for 30 minutes yesterday. experienced some discomfort my first few days at home.. gas and difficulty getting out of the bed. thank GOD for GAS-X AND 2 STRONG ARMS... Had lost 10 pounds before surgery, and 10 this week. staying on the liquid diet but have upgraded to creamy Soups made watery..its really a threat after bland liquids for days. Vitamins, water and the Protein drink HOPE EVERYONE HAD A GREAT 4th. MZFAB50

I know this is a subject people try to avoid, however in the past few months we have been made aware of the necessity for having a living will. Having my family and friends know what my wishes are is very important and I don't want anyone guessing or causing conflict. I found a web site that reasonable and easy.. the cost is $5.00 and takes less than 10 minutes to complete.you can print it upon completion... send a copy of your living will to family or whom ever you wish to know your wishes ..the site is called... LivingWillsNow.COM my surgery is schedule for 06-28-05 and I'm trying to cross all T's and dot all I's before Tuesday. Just thought I would share this information.

thanks everyone for your support....I panicked Friday when the admissions person told me that my gall bladder was going to be removed... that was news to me...i was shocked. I trust Dr. Sighn...but I was planning on leaving the hospital with all of my body parts...lol since friday i have discovered that 80% of folks that do not have it removed will have to at some point after bariatric surgery. its because of the high Protein intake and rapid weight loss. Looking at the positive side... losing the gall bladder i'm ahead of my weight loss goal by atleast a few ounces... and i have to agree, its better to have it done now than later.... thanks guys

Hello , Thank you for welcoming me to LBT. Looking forward to posting my weight loss. I live in Bowie,MD and seafood is a favorite, but the sacrifices we must make for beauty..lol. The crab population will reach its peeks this year, due to it being a no no for me...this summer. Is it possible to suffer from shrimp withdrawals? OLD BAY seafood seasoning could be my signature scent..lol TAKE CARE
