@@SnowDaisy Thank you for the reply and info. I have a friend who is using Dr Finnel, but carries different insurance. She actually only had one thing to do and that was just the surgeon wanting her to. She has BCBS and is scheduled for surgery in June. I have Cigna and criteria to meet, but want my consult appt set up. I'd like to get the ball rolling. Can I ask how long you had to stay in the hospital post-op from having the open surgery? I'm not trying to be nosy. I just have a special needs son and want to be very very very prepared.

Hi @Snowdaisy. I'm looking at Dr. Finnel over at United Regional Specialty clinic on 9th street. I'd like to have a dr/practice that would be helpful with the insurance requirements (ie: the three month weight management program, nutritional eval by a dietitian, etc)
