I'm two days off moving to puréed but have had thicker soups so I feel I could have some mashed Veges etc. Thanks for your replies everyone

I was sleeved 23/06. Have my doctor follow up tomorrow and am nervous to see how much I have lost as have been waiting to do it at this check up!

I am in aus and only a week out but my doctor prescribed nexium - haven't had any acid problems to date

I have my check up on Wednesday and haven't weighed myself waiting for that visit! I hope it's a nice surprise

I found a cauliflower base for pizza - might allow you to have one piece ! Just cauli cheese and egg - bake it a little and then pop your toppings on! That's so good about the jacket! I can't wait for some of those victories! I'm doing okay! I made meat pies for my auntie and uncle tonight and then had my soup! Hope your weekends gone well

I'm doing ok, had a bit of pain yesterday but think I overdid it with being out. Eating soups and liquids is all going well! Not feeling hungry but get jealous of some peoples food just cos!

Had my surgery yesterday and am recovering well. No nausea but some chest pain! Onto clear soups but couldn't stomach the juice! Fingers crossed I get to go home tomorrow

Fly out tonight and I'm getting my surgery tomorrow! Getting a bit nervous! Hope everyone is doing well!

Today's the day!!

Yes I will definitely get onto the soups when I'm home ! That's stroll good to have lost 8kg! Keep at it! I'm going to the mount hospital! Just read the book the dietician sent me! Such small portions! Going to save heaps on food!

I have hardly any warm clothes but shouldn't have to go outside much in the first week. I mainly have jeans up here but more shorts etc as it's usually so warm! I have made some pumpkin Soup and I also made a coconut curry chicken so I puréed some of that. I got the dietician info today with the Protein powder so ill order some of that. Operation is this coming Monday, fly to Perth Sunday! Nervous about being on my own! I have a skype consult tomorrow for the anesthetist - thank goodness for technology! I'm sure your stall will be short lived! How much have you lost now, what was your surgery weight!

Oh that sucks! I was going to go buy some warm ones as I am not used to the cold!! How did you go wearing pants after? Yep I was planning on taking books and the iPad, better to have them I guess! It will be nice to rest up even though I'll probably be super sore! Did you need pain meds when you went home? I had a big bowl of Pasta last night! Last one! I am finding it hard to think what we might do after this, so much of what we do up here is bbq, drinks, and very social so it's going to be such an adjustment! How are you going this week? Good I hope

Haha.....been there done that! Once I clicked the 'submit' button on the bpay, I thought 'no going back now'! Best $5000ish you will ever spend Yes my fiancé didn't grasp why I was having a freak out! It's done now! Confirmed my follow up appt isn't in mandurah but back at the hospital so that's good! They say ill only be in hospital 2 nights so that will be good!Yes 5k commitment! I think that's the scary part, you don't want to fail like every other diet!! All upwards from here!!I week to go!!

That's awesome. I didn't have to do it either and I was so relieved! I can't believe one person had to do it for 8 weeks! Congrats! Mine is one month before you! What doctor are you going to? I don't have to do the opti diet either

Yeah he said about $500 so it's good to hear that's about right! I'll pop you through an email tomorrow Have a good Sunday night I just paid for the surgery and now I am having a freak out moment! Wondering if I am doing the right thing!! Ahhh! Hope your Monday has started off well.
