  1. I had surgery on May 27, 2014 and I've only lost 23 lbs since then. I have been walking and now starting Zumba at home... I see everyone else losing 40-60 lbs and I feel so defeated. I know that everyone is different but i'm worried I'm eating too much or something. any ideas? thanks in advance!!!
  2. Thank you for sharing yours and your wife's journey with me. I have to admit it makes the excitement out weigh the anxiety. I know it's what i need to do and i am so excited to finally have the opportunity to do this. I was literally on the surgery table about 10 yrs ago ready to have gastric bypass surgery when the nurse came in and stopped it all with a blood test showing that I was pregnant. It turned out that I had an ectopic pregnancy so I didn't get to have the surgery or the baby. I decided for years that it just wasn't "meant" to be for me to have the surgery. But I guess now that it's all been approved it must be the right time for me. Getting excited now!!! 11 Days until my journey begins. Can't wait to feel comfortable in my own skin!!!
  3. I'm having my Sleeve Gastrectomy in 11 days and getting extremely nervous. I know this has to be normal for everyone, but I am kind of freaking out. You just hear of all the things that can go wrong, and well you know. Anyway I'm going through with it anyway buy I have to admit it's kind of gone fast and I don't know how prepared I am. Anyone who has had the surgery already, what should I expect in the days immediately following the surgery? I know everyone is different but a general idea would be great. Thanks in advance!!!
