Have you tried Greek yogurt, cottage cheese , and i also make myself a protein shake in the eveing as a snack with added fruit for flavor. I still struggle daily with getting it ALL in ! But i have found that these have helped ! Good Luck -

I was sleeved on May 12th also . last weigh in total loss was 35 lbs. Hit a stall this past week myself. I am having a difficult time getting in all of the protein. Some days are better eating days than others. Anyone else ??? -
6 weeks out, more restriction than week 3, 4, and 5, this happen often?

I'm with you!! I had no idea how big a part food plays ! Until I am not eating it ! I just socialize now ,I will poke around some food on my plate and people don't really notice too much. -

I am 8 weeks out and have found that I have better eating days than others. Meaning some days I can eat more ! I had to go back to soft foods and liquids for a short time due to the same reason you just posted. I am finding also very quickly at this point what foods work for me right now and what does not.... That's been tough! Lol -
How do you get calories early on?

I started of focusing on the calories as well. Wrong idea! Like the others said, PROTEIN is your key!! Without that you will feel exhausted . I am 8 wks. Out and still have to make an effort to get at least my 75 grams in, calories take care of themselves. -
I wondered the same thing ! I am 4 week out today and struggle with the energy needed to to any exercise more than a 20 to 30 min walk or easy swim for 15 min. I have enjoyed resistance training , arobics , eliptical in the past. Just cant seem to find the gumtion for any of those at this point. Was feeling like a failure in the exercise ...

My mind cannot wrap it'self around the idea that I can ever be smaller than 200lbs. Would you be willing to share some of personal tips ? Exercise , snacks, meals ...I just love this site ! -

No regrets but struggling with depression after surgery. I am wondering if I will ever enjoy eating again. Every time i try to eat its such a struggle. I always feel like my food is stuck . If it's not shakes or yogurt it seems to feel like a rock in my stomach. Help?? -

I want to say THANK YOU to all of your encouraging replys !! To have so many people who have "been there, done that" this forum has been a life saver for me ! I feel kind of like i am riding a roller coaster honestly. Some days up , some down ... But i do know this is the best decision I could have made for myself !! Thank you again -

i am happy with my results also . But this is sure tough . I dare anyone to say bariatric surgery is "the easy way out ".... Are you exercising? I am walking but not as much as I should. Im just tired when I get ho from work. I did swim today for 15 minutes . I feel like I should be all up into some kind of big workout ! Feeling guilty about NOT -

I hadsmy sleeve on May 12th. I cant drink shakes anymore , they go straight through me. I can eat yogurt and cottage cheese. But i really find myself wanting FOOD ! I have tried mashed potatoes but it hurts after 3 bites. Stuck in my chest. I find myself getting depressed and feeling the same way you are ....Am I ever going to be able to enjoy food again ?? Sorry to whine. I am thankful for my decision, just a bad day.
