I'm 5 weeks out and from time to time I experience the same pain you mention. When I looked into the forum to see if anyone else experienced the same problem I found a couple of people who had a hernia repair along with the sleeve that had this same pain. And ironically my doctor performed a hiatal hernia repair on me as well.

Hi I had the sleeve done on 4/21/14 and have lost 36 pounds. I started at 349 so I have 180-200 pounds to lose as well. I'm glad I found this forum as well. I have a question I hope someone can help me with. My surgeon prescribed me a med to protect my gallbladder but I haven't been taking it cause of the effects it has on the liver. I talked to 2 other people that needs to lose as much weight as I do that used the same surgeon and neither of them were prescribed this med. Is there anyone on this forum that was prescribed a pill to takes two times a day to protect your gallbladder. I can't think of the name of the med right now.
