  1. So, today is my 5 week Anniversary! I started this process on 06/01 since then i have lost 28lbs. I am little discouraged with the amount of weight that I lost. For some reason I thought that I would have loss more weight by now. The past 2 weeks I didnt lost any weight; just yesterday I lost 1lb. ONE POUND, Are you kidding me? I started working out at least 3 times a week, and I am watching my diet. So far I am enjoying cereal for breakfast, chicken and salad for lunch and dinner however; I do find myself hungry every 2 hours so I have snacks in between meals. Another thing that is currently bothering me is HEART BURN! I've had heartburn for 3 weeks now, it drives me CRAZY! Also, I am not sure if i am chewing my food enough or I am eating too fast however; I feel like my food gets stuck on the way down. I must say I do miss the realationship I had with food, i just need to have a better relationship with the gym.

28 lbs in five weeks is wonderful and nothing to sneeze at.

The food getting stuck means your not chewing enough and eating to fast.

What surgery did you have? You shouldn't be having heartburn and I would if I were you tell your surgeon about it immediately.

You're on the right track so stay there and stop weighing yourself more then once a week. It's bad for your mind set. Those numbers if you don't like them can throw you off track if you get upset. Weigh only once a week if you must and do it always on the same day at the same time wearing the same thing.

      Keep on going.

I had my 6 week check up today. One week more will make a difference! Last week I still was just sipping. Today I am really really drinking! Like regular/normal. I was worried I could be stretching and my doctor said NO, that drinking will become normal again. So now drinking is easier. So food should be easier soon. Still taking it slow but I know progress is coming.

Hang in there! You're doing great!
