first thread!!! muy bueno

HELLO to all you September post-op folks. I have not seen a dedicated thread to us on here yet, so I thought I would start one. how is everyone doing? as for me I was sleeved yesterday (September 10th). I want to set this group up for all of us to check in and support each other. Lets get some good discussions going on here. look forward to hearing from all of your success stories. Congrats to you all and welcome to the next chapter in your life!!!

Wow, time flies when you are kicking butt. I am happy and down 125 pounds from my high weight. I am a few pounds from my self made goal and the scale has slowed to a crawl. I am okay with that. I have done things I wouldn't have ever dreamed of in this past year. I am physically active, have stopped abusing alcohol, eat much better, and feel amazing. Oddly enough my brain can not catch up with the size of my body. I still see that same big boy. I KNOW how much I have lost, but my brain hasn't fully adapted to my new body. weird weird weird. I can't wait to see what my 1 year follow up will be like as I prepare for maintenance mode. Thank you to all of you on this site as this site was a huge factor in my success. Pictures will follow in a different thread.

A premier Protein shake is 11 ounces. 30 grams is equal to approximately 1 Fluid ounce so protein being the number one ingredient would me a very thick shake!!!

Hey Bariactric Pal family!!! I am down over 120# over 10 months out and near my goal weight. I have never considered plastic surgery in my life, but I got a new lease on life and the skin is bothersome and I would like it gone. I would love to hear simple numbers on what you had and how much it cost and if insurance paid for any of it! I have Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Federal Employee Program (FEP). How did you find your surgeon? Anyone recommend one in Portland Oregon? Also, how long was your recovery? time off work? 2 weeks? Thanks so much for all your input!

that is a good deal. I just got some. I was running low and don't drink them much anymore, but I should have a supply for those special days!

you just had major surgery. let your body recover.... so many things are happening to you and your body right now. follow your plan and you will be just fine. congrats on the surgery. you can do this!!!

I really need to do a month to month weight loss chart. I keep a weekly one on excel but I don't have that with me now. in total I am down 125 pounds in 11 months. last 2 months or so I have been slowing way way way down. almost to goal!
