Hey everyone! New here!
Rovobay replied to thick2thin's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
congrats. welcome. cheating happens. acknowledge your mistake is good and try to get back on track. no, it won't derail your procedure, but shrinking the liver (reason for the pre-op diet) will make the surgery easier on your dr. and will make for an easier recovery for you. best of luck and welcome -
you likely lost a lot of muscle weight. it is unavoidable for the most part. keep it up at the gym. it will come back. you are still early out of surgery. things will start to come together soon. keep up the good work.

Is the pre op diet needed?
Rovobay replied to chunkyloverlovesyou's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
listen to your doc. follow the plan. you will be able to have these foods again. but your portion size is limited. I have had pizza a few times. a slice will be more than enough. pre-op is also a time to dedicate yourself to the seriousness of your weight loss goals. good luck -
What activities are you looking forward to doing?
Rovobay replied to Eli Alexander's topic in The Guys’ Room
Sex is always on the list for anything. bigger, smaller, taller, shorter, lighter, darker. so besides the obvious! outdoors activities (which I have always done) but without being exhausted. camping, hiking, fishing, hunting. started running. I think I am making great progress in that regard. sitting down in a chair without worrying if it will break or not! zipline, rock wall, fun/mud run, live life to the fullest. not having to read the weight restrictions on everything because you know you are light enough. (i.e. ladder) -

Did BCBS Federal approve protein shakes from insure nutrition?
Rovobay replied to Rovobay's topic in Insurance & Financing
@@Elode oddly no..... The approval period was taking a while. I reached out to them several times. they sent me 2 boxes of chocolate and 2 boxes of vanilla while I was waiting for approval. 2+ months passed and finally got them to tell me that I was not approved.... glad I got toe 4 cases free.... something about them being out of network and I haven't met my out of pocket expenses yet ($6000 for the calendar year or something like that), and that they would not be reimbursed. denied!!! I do not understand insurance at all. I just buy the shakes at costco $25 bucks for 18 shakes. -
Best tasting protein shakes?
Rovobay replied to smile121's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
like above. premier Protein. I also add espresso to the vanilla shakes. I tire of chocolate, vanilla, so my post workout shakes are Syntrax nectar. they are juice like. not thick, and fruity. call the company, they can send you a sample pack (about 15 for $15 bucks) I liked a lot of them. I bought a big tub of fuzzy navel. nice change from chocolate and vanilla. never had much luck with unflavored and adding to foods.... good luck -

Best scrambled eggs ever!
Rovobay replied to RedSalamander's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
sounds good. cottage cheese added to scrabbled eggs ain't bad either and adds another punch of protein! -
grrr... me too. I fear that I will have multiple posts once this is resolved.

taking my 3rd day off of work now.... still having an uncomfortable time walking around the house. need to get back to the gym soon. doing training for some races. funny thing I haven't lost weight in a while. once I started sitting on my ass, the scale started moving down again... weird.
