I was amazed that a woman had not commented on this yet..... it would prove your point I guess. I don't go because they are out of my way and I don't like being social like that! THIS IS THE MEN'S ROOM. Stick around. there is helpful supporting info and people on here.

Alas, the Power of the Sleeve

congrats! your world has changed!!! -
Whatever path you choose, best of luck. read the crap out of this site! you will find all the good, the bad, and the ugly. I elected to have surgery. 8 months ago. fast forward to present day, I am 110+ pounds lost, feels years younger, energetic, run, I feel amazing. I told absolutely no one (except my wife), because is was just my decision to have the surgery and no one else's. the naysayers are likely misinformed. do your own research. I feel that nothing in my life has been sacrificed. I work my asss off at the gym, eat healthy, gave up drinking. I have a new lease on life and don't plan to waist it. good luck. keep in touch

@@trulyamazingtoo may 26th today.... I bet that scale started moving again. our bodies are amazing machines and they work in mysterious ways. although your scale may not be showing a number, I bet you are seeing results in a different way such as the way your clothes fit, or that tasks that use to be tiring are getting easier, etc. keep at it. it is a marathon, not a sprint!!!

I took a week off of work. I went home 24 hours after surgery. slept in the recliner for the first 5 days. hurt to be straight. pain was fine. I did almost die (or so I thought) when I sneezed on day 6. whatever you do, do NOT sneeze. holy crap that hurt. I looked down expecting to see my guts coming out of my scars! never took too much pain meds after the first couple days. good luck!

Fuzzy Navel!!!! Love it. Had the sample pack. I liked a lot of them. ended up getting the tub (from Amazon) of fuzzy navel. I also liked the roadside lemonade and the punch variety (can't remember the exact name). -
nothing wrong with making a choice that can add years to your life. Like you said, you are doing this for your family. great motivation! you'll be just fine!

Time will soon cure that problem as your shirts will magically become better fitting, then you will encounter the next issue which will be going from an XL to an L.... I consider these good things! keep up the great work!

great work. nice progress. nice message to people who are pre-op and those who may be on the fence about WLS. nearly 8 months out and I can't really remember the few uncomfortable post surgery days! surgery is a life changer!!!

1 week post fear I may be losing too fast
Rovobay replied to Joshua Barbour's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Great work OP.... Nothing to worry about. I am sure you have started slowing down. be prepared for the week 3 stall. congrats thus far! keep up the great work! -
I have dabbled in a soda a couple times... made it flat by shaking it and letting the fizz subside. no troubles for me, but nothing has bothered my stomach at all. everyone is different. I am not addicted to it. it is not daily or even weekly occurrence so it doesn't bother me. follow your program and listen to your doctor. first taste of soda was at 6 months post-op.

I wanted to share in the fitness section, but figured some may take it too personally. so I am posting in the GUY's Room (not that anyone respects the rules for posting in here....) This does not reflect my opinion, but something that made me laugh. enjoy my fellow losers! happy Monday!

power of positive thinking.... I keep telling myself, that I would rather have that loose skin than the 100+ pounds I have lost in the last 7 months. I notice it most when I am doing shirtless pushups before bed and I can see it all hanging there, but honestly not as bad as I thought. I do have another 25 pounds to go and perhaps that is when the skin will really start to hang. my wife loves my transformation. she can really lock her arms around me now. of course we all know the other benefits as well in regards to the horizontal mambo! 10/10 would choose to do the surgery all over again. I would entertain the TT/panni (what ever the difference is) when I get down to goal.
