@@mbrinmn I watched that a few years ago and was motivated (for a while) and lost around 30#. I am thankful I have both a great juicer and a vitamix that will really help me through these post-op diet stages. -

nice post. time is the best medicine for recovery. too much too soon can have adverse affect on recovery. follow your plan, listen to your doctor, listen to your gut. day 5 and I feel pretty good. learning to take in more fluids. everyone is different. -
good luck to all of you. I am 5 days out and feel pretty good. no pain pills. getting good liquids and Protein in. first day or 2 sucks but it will get better. congrats. keep us all updated.

5 days out and I have had no urge to go. just some gas. I image that it is because of the lack of substance to process. hope it is not a problem for you much longer.... -

I used the whey Protein ISOLATE and I am happy with the flavor and protein content. I bought a tube of vanilla. less carbs and calories in isolate. go to amazon to compare side by side. -

glad to hear you are turning the corner. I am off pain meds. I got an 8 oz Protein shake down in 50 minutes! I am so proud of myself. wife brought home some miso Soup last night. I will have that for lunch. something warm. determined to get all my protein and Water today.

risk reward trade off. For me it was worth the minor risks. I am still young (strong body) and strong heart. I knew I could take the surgery. -
