    So...I'm new here...

whatever surgery you decide on, best of luck to you.... as you surf around this sight you will find help everywhere you go. there are some areas that are pretty much dead, and most people stick to just a few sections. In fact, I have been exploring various areas today for the very first time (I have spent 100's of hours on here!!!).

  10. @@mbrinmn my backyard is basically a huge garden. I juice what I grow. recipes vary. my favorite simple and cheap juice is carrot kale apple pear. don't care for juices that are terribly veggie flavored. I just choke them down because they are healthy.
  11. @@ShortiAKA hope by now you are feeling much better.

    Is my Sleeve Working?

@@JM26 glad your recovery has been so smooth. I was sleeved sept 10. I don't have much of an appetite. I can get more liquids down a lot faster now. 8 oz. in 30 minutes!!! I guess I will never win a yard of ale contest again. cheers!!!
  15. @@HalloweenBaby24 I guess we will all think it was worth the pain when we hit our goals. hang in there and don't ever sneeze again. how far out are you?
  16. sleeve will change all of that!!! I can chug 16 oz bottle of Water in a few seconds.... not any more!!! I am a few days out of surgery and I am too scared to drink fast as I do not wish to feel the pain of drinking too fast. I am learning to sip constantly throughout the day. hopefully some veterans can chime in with the longer outlook.

    Sweets ever again?

I am a sweet kinda guy too (and bourbon), but I hope that my tastes have changed. I am a few days out from surgery and can barely stand the sweetness of Protein shakes. I am also glad I gave up booze too. I am going to get thin and healthy, ain't no way in hell I am going back. too many sacrifices already made.
