@@*Lexie* awesome progress. my energy came back a little after a week and I started hitting the gym. walking at first, now I am getting a good hard sweat on the elliptical just 3 weeks out. very light weight lifting using machines that do NOT target the stomach muscles. I can still feel the incision site when I bend over to touch the ground or twist or arch. almost there.... puree stage was a life saver. yummy cottage cheese, eggs.... you'll be there soon.

@@TheBlissfulNatural 3 weeks out today, and I can barely feel any pain. my only pain is in the largest incision where my stomach was pulled out. It will get better. hang in there. just think down the road when you are 50, 60, 70 or more pounds lighter and how good you feel, you will laugh at this small piece of time and know it was all worth it!!! -

if I can add one more thing. to those pre-op folks reading this and considering the insure nutrition route. please sign up ASAP. they experience up to a 1 month or more response time to get approval from insurance.... It is a great opportunity to use them. they are very helpful, but please make haste and submit papers early. -

my clinic was the only approved "bariatric center of excellence" and I needed to use one in order to be covered by my plan. however, I did have a choice of 4 doctors, which I used the bariatricpal directory to help me decide. my PCP concurred and referred me.... the rest is history! -

as someone who is entering his 3rd week, I appreciate reading all of these posts.... my months on this forum have me prepared for this "stall" stay positive!!!!!! stick to plan and exercise. -
@@poginut glad you are doing well. that is awesome. first few weeks are crazy. definitely lots to learn after surgery. teaching your body how to eat and paying attention to what goes inside you. good work. pretty fun once you see those pounds start to come off!
