Not sure if anyone has size 12 stuff, but I can pay shipping if so. Size L is great too. I'm an hourglass shape (smaller waist, bigger hips) if that matters to fit. Thanks so much!!!

I have some, happy to send for shipping only! PM me and I can tell you all I have. We can try to do maybe flat rate box with as much as I can fit in it or something like that. I know clothes are heavy; flat rate is usually cheapest... ***Check out my latest book at: www.trishahaddad.com*** -
Any Born Again Christians?
TraciHade replied to lovedXJesus's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am a Christian but had gotten out of the practice of attending church (move around a lot and I'm very shy). Since having the surgery, I've been going to a church for several months and getting involved. It is like I have so much more time when I'm not constantly eating or trying not to eat! -
How long until you went back to work?
TraciHade replied to Sreeves's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had it on a Tuesday, was in the hospital until Th, and worked from home starting Monday for a week. I was back in the office the following Monday. If you're worried, you can take disability leave and get partial pay at least. My rny was particularly uneventful. -
Suggestions please? :)
TraciHade replied to katykate94's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I agree with the beans. I am now 3 months out and still have beans with melted cheese once a day because it gives a big protein kick (and tastes good). Other purées I liked were cottage cheese, Fage 2% Greek yogurt plain mixed with a bit of strawberry protein powder for flavor, SF jello, and hummus... just plain hummus, yummy. -
Why is being in a relationship so much harder post-op?
TraciHade replied to ScreamingForMySupper's topic in The Gals' Room
I've heard something like this too. Women communicate face-to-face; men communicate side-by-side. This is why guy buddies won't sit on the couch facing each other and talking, but put then facing the tv playing a video game together and they open up. -
Puree Diet Suggestions Please!
TraciHade replied to ElizabethA's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I liked 1/2 c of fat free refried beans with about an ounce of cheddar cheese melted in. I am 2 months out and still have this for dinner if I need to top off my protein at the end of the day. It is about 20g and sooo tasty. -
So fast! Well, after the first couple days, it has been flying by! Best if luck on your journey!!

I had surgery on 6/10 as well. Can you believe it has been a month??? My doc had me start Ursodiol after my 2 wk appt. I didn't notice much change, but I did notice my first couple weeks were pretty slow. Once I started exercising every day (walking, swim, even jog a bit, whatever... variety is the spice of life!) I noticed I started losing more consistently. That's just me though... And hey, congrats on the 1 month!

Raging-high BP after surgery
TraciHade replied to latido's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My BP went up in the hospital after surgery (to the same level as you). They gave me nitro paste on a patch, then something in my IV and it got under control by the second day (though the nitro gave me a headache). After each if my c-sections, my BP popped up to the same level too and I had to go in labetalol for a couple months. Maybe our bodies don't like being cut open. But seriously get some meds at the hospital or doc's to deal with it right away... The longer it is high, the more you'll stress, which doesn't help...! -
Hello, my name is Anxiety. What's yours? 2 wks to go
TraciHade replied to itsmekarenlee's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I need that numbing stuff for IVs too. I had RNY on June 10th (wow, has it been a month??!). The first couple days was total buyers remorse, but since then I've felt fantastic! Walk as much as possible in the hospital, it really helps. And good luck! PS: if you don't already, I suggest journaling. It helps with the anxiety before and emotions after! -
I heard something really great
TraciHade replied to HYCIERRA's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I love this idea! I'm a week post-op and I wish I'd thought of this when telling people before. I'll keep it in my back pocket... Thanks! -
Am I the only one who has a hard time talking about my weight?
TraciHade replied to LisaCO's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I don't like discussing emotional stuff or my weight, but put them together and fugeddabboutit! Better at writing down my thoughts.
