My surgery was Wed afternoon, everything went well and i feel pretty good so far. Hopefully that continues and i go home today -

Heynowkc - as far as acid my doctor already put me on prevacid since i will need after, maybe ask your dr about that

I am finishing up day 9 of my all liquid pre-op, i'm not sure after all this is over if I will ever be able to have a cup of broth, popsicle or Jello.... can't wait to get through it..

Trisvsg11, i'm almost finished with day 8, I think it gets easier, i'm not hungry more so I just want to chew on something -
I am scheduled for surgery in a couple of week and was wondering when you came home from the hospital did you need to have someone there with you or will I be ok to be by myself? Thanks. Dawn
