Both my mother and father had 10 siblings, so I know about big families and how they can function. I thought 11 kids were alot. I have to say that I am flabbergasted(sp?) by the thought of 17. I agree that in a world where most people are used to getting what they want, and now; growing up in a huge family such as theirs could provide them with a great lesson in sharing and cooperation. Selflessness would be another quality they could obtain from this type of environment. The certainly must have more patience than I do.

"I don't even know how you got untied!" that was my favorite!! Although that other guy that one the head to head challenge was hysterical as well.

I don't know if I could handle being 62 years old when my current newborn graduated high school. I wonder what the monthly food bill is...

This is what I do when I get flu like symptoms and it should work for you, even with the band. The only problem is to gather the ingredients could be a bit pricey but will last you a long time... around $80. ingredients are all liquid except for chewable Vitamin c. Samucol (elderberry extract) Greatfruit seed extract (bottle looks similar to visine bottle but white) Ginsing chewable Vitamin C orange juice echinacea All ingredients go in a small juice cup 2 full droppers of sambucol 2 full droppers of ginsing 2 full droppers of echinacea 15 drops of greatfruit seed extract 2-4oz of OJ I mix it up really well to make sure the thicker liquids mix well and drink it. It is not a very tasty drink but it works every time for me. the most I have had to have is 2 servings (one a day) before my symptoms were gone. Give it a whirl. P.S. not medical advice, just a tried and true home remedy.

Stay away from slimfast if at all possible. There is usually a very high content of sugars. Even Ensure is way to high in that respect. There are plenty of product our there that will fit your needs as a new bandster that is low in sugar and carbs. Bariatrix makes a good product. You can find quite a few different things at Bariatric Advantage. (Nutritional supplements for Gastric Bypass Bariatric Surgery Patients from Bariatric Advantage) Hope that helps.

That sounds like the correct card. You should see either a 9.75 or 10cm part to that, which will tell you what size you have.

You should certainly check with your surgeon. He/she should have given you a card with that information on it.

GOOD Lap Band surgeon in Salt Lake City area?????

I'm glad you had a good experience! -
There are actually 5 sizes of the Inamed bands now... The following hold 4mL: 9.75cm and 10cm (that may be where you got 4 from marie) There is a Vanguard, or VG which holds 10mL And two new bands: APS (small) and APL (large) that hold 10mL and 14mL respectively. Surgeons usually choose which band to place at the time of surgery after measuring the anatomy of your upper stomach where the band will be placed. A band too big for your anatomy could result in your not ever having good enough restriction. You really shouldn't base your experience off of what others have had or done. Every persons experience is as different as thier fingerprints. Just my $.02

Cathy, There was a delay on the C-Arm for the Roswell, GA location. Darlene is scheduling for this weekend in Moultrie and has a new target date for the weekend of July 20-21 but unfortunately will not be sure of that date until early next week when the C-Arm is scheduled to be delivered. -
I've just started to read Hannibal Rising. I think I'll finish it this weekend while at the lake.

Login issues - Clearing Web Browser Cache and Cookies
smatyas replied to Alex Brecher's topic in Website Assistance & Suggestions
This issue happened to me for a while and what I did to fix it is: I logged in to the site and checked the remember me box. Then logged off of the website, then went to clear my cache and browsing history. Then when I logged back on, i haven't had any issues whatsoever. I repeat these steps any time I need to clear my cache now just incase it is going to happen again. Hope this helps. -

Just an FYI... Historically, the LA area has been a very difficult place to actually keep the interested, interested. There have been a number of providers that have signed up for training that never got up and running for one reason or another. -
I watched that show too. Wasn't it great how the EMT guys treated her so well while movingher from home to hospital? Did you happen to catch the "Half Ton Man" after that show?
