Your story sounds just like mine. Surgery May 23rd and I've lost 38. Took 4 fills to get to my "sweet spot". Got 40 more to go! Good luck and congrats! -
Question: My first fill isn't until next week. Why is food getting stuck already? Ate some grilled chicken earlier and it got trapped between my throat and chest. Hurt like hell for about 1-2 mins!!

I was banded on May 23rd my first fill is June 24th. I am hungry all the time, just like before surgery! I can not WAIT til I start getting fills. I'm putting back on what I lost during the liquid phase.

I also had my surgery May 23rd. My first fill is June 24th and it can't get here soon enough. Almost feeling like I've had nothing done! Really trying to keep my calories light but I'm hungry! I didn't have to do the pre-op diet. But since surgery have lost 10 lbs. Good luck!!

I just started soft solids Friday. Believe me, you'll know! All of the sudden I get a feeling like it didn't go down, like I have to sit up straight and wait for it to go down. That's when I stop.

Wonderful advice!! Another thing, I wish the "negative Nelly's" would zip-it! My biggest pet peeve since I got banded two weeks ago is the negative remarks! This was a huge decision for me. I only have 70 lbs to lose, which is a lot to me, but not like the 100-200 some have to lose. I'm so ready for my first fill. I'm hungry all the time -

Wow! Went for my 2 wk post op yesterday and I've only lost 7. Can not wait for my first fill hoping that will make a huge difference. I'm hungry and have been since day 3! -
11days post op, what's the rule on getting in swimming pool, my own. Very clean. Also baths? I have instructions but doesn't clarify.

The nurse emailed me back. She said two weeks minimum as long as incisions are scabbed over. I have glue still on three but the very top one has lost all the glue but healing well.

I'm scheduled for may 23rd!! So excited to get this weight off! I don't have to go on a pre-op diet since my BMI is (barely) under 40.
