Hi May sleevers. I was sleeved May 6 in Portland, OR. Still having so much abdominal cavity gas and pressure from surgery. After every sip I take of water or protein shake I have even more gas bubbles in my stomach. I'm so ready for that all to go away and was hoping it would have by this point. Also still having a good deal of pain and "pulling" around the right side of my stomach when I'm moving, getting out of bed and/or walking. This is not preventing me from doing things but is just painful. Anyone else experiencing these things? Perhaps I just have no pain tolerance and am a worry wart congrats to all of you! Excited to do this journey together!!

Sleeved Tuesday. Cool to see how many of us were sleeved at the same time. I feel like with my program I'm constantly having to drink and eat. It takes me a good hour to get down an 8 oz protein shake. my program recommends 60-80 g of protein per day and at least 64 oz of water so with how long it takes me to drink/eat I have to be on quite a strict schedule. The gas is the worst!

Hi team! I'm 5 days post op and was able to go for a mile walk today granted I was in some pain but I felt better after the walk. Still having a good deal of pain at the largest incision site on the right side of my belly. It often feels like it's being pulled but from the inside. I also haven't bad a BM yet; is that normal? I still find that I have a lot do pressure and gas in my abdominal cavity from surgery which is the most uncomfortable part-- I'm hoping that goes away in the next few days. Lastly, after any sip of water and/or protein shake I have gas bubbles and discomfort in my belly. I'm taking small sips but I'm wondering if I'm still ingesting a lot of air. I am wondering if all these reports are typical at 5 days out. Would love feedback! I don't have any contacts or friends that have gone through this process so looking forward to sharing and meeting others through this forum
